Jeremy Hallett has a unique story. After selling used cars and traveling the world, he decided that life insurance was his passion...but not in the traditional sense. He wanted to create a place where people could play with insurance numbers and figure out what was right for them....wihtout having to give out a ton of information (like who they were or their phone number). Quotacy.com was born.

Today's episode is a great look not only at life insurance and why you should cover your family adequately, but about how little events in your life can change the course of everything you do for the rest of your life. Jeremy has a great story and it was fun having a financial "nerd" discussion with him on today's podcast.

We're SO excited to have financial expert Nicole Lapin join us to discuss her book released just yesterday....Rich Bitch. She explains where the name comes from, what a real "rich bitch" looks like (she's more Glenda the Good Witch and less evil lady....), and how she grabs bigger goals by better controlling her money.

Don't worry, men...there's a TON in this episode for you, too. Not only does Nicole's advice apply to men, but we also have Suzanne Lucas discussing leadership, a letter about company benefits, and headlines covering identity theft and more.....all that PLUS the Spongebob Movie review (an unbelievably short review of that film from OG.....).

Is gold a great hedge? If not, is there a different hedge we should be using against a market collapse? We'll ask the roundtable AND OG on this week's show.

Lance Armstrong has to pay $10M, and only money nerds like us would ask, "What's the tax implications?" Our roundtable also answers the question, "What's the only money advice you'll ever need?" That's not all. We also talk all things distracted driving, Jupiter Ascending, and more!

Want to become smarter with your money? Mentor someone else.

Ted Gonder was a student at the University of Chicago when he and his friends decided to teach financial education to the kids living in the neighborhoods of the south side of Chicago. Once they saw positive results, they began setting up formal programs to help teach kids about money. As they saw great results, Moneythink was born, and Ted became the first CEO of the non-profit. Fast forward a few years and now they're not only working on technology to help their growing student relationships, but he's also working with the President of the United States and the Department of Education to create better opportunities for his mentorships. It's an idea that's picking up steam.

Today's interview raises some great points. What are YOU doing to help educate those around you? How are YOU working in your community to help raise the level of discussions about finance. This is an inspirational interview that'll have you ready to jump in and get working!
